Expanded regionally – LAUGFS Gas became the first Sri Lankan energy brand with a multinational presence by acquiring Petredec Elpiji Ltd (renamed LAUGFS Gas Bangladesh Ltd). We also commenced construction of the 30,000 MT LPG terminal at Hambantota

Launched a successful IPO, becoming a publicly traded company (CSE) and inviting citizens to share in our growth.
2007
Partnered with Sri Lanka’s Consumer Affairs Authority to establish the regulated price formula for LPG.
2002
Registered the LAUGFS Wega – the country’s first LPG vessel under the Sri Lankan flag.
2001
Entered Sri Lanka’s LPG industry and signed the first supply agreement with the state (CPC).
2000
Company formation – obtained Board of Investment approval and incorporated LAUGFS Gas Ltd.
1998
Obtained World LPG Association Membership.
1994
Established Gas Auto Lanka (Pvt) Ltd and entered autogas conversion business.
